Yale's new Georgian book

Thursday, 17 March 2022

The run of new history books continues and better still, another one from Yale. January saw the publication of ‘The Georgians: the deeds and misdeeds of 18th Century Britain’, by Penelope J. Corfield (professor of history at Royal Holloway, London University). This period is the upper limit of the English Monarchs series and all four studies of these kings were published by Yale. This new book is a more wide-ranging study of the period which the publisher says "explores every aspect of Georgian life―politics and empire, culture and society, love and violence, religion and science, industry and towns.” The book is available now for £20.00  ISBN 9780300253573
